|... ritengo che il tema dell’internazionalizzazione sia un processo in atto estremamente importante e inarrestabile nelle nostre università italiane, ma per comprenderne l’importanza, e trasmetterne il senso, servono docenti già abituati ad un confronto internazionale con altre università; docenti che da anni partecipino attivamente ad una didattica innovativa e siano propositivi. Docenti che sappiano comprendere e gestire le aspettative di studenti che affrontano viaggi-studio, in Erasmus, da paesi anche molto lontani,  e che da essi intendano trarre un’esperienza teorica, professionale e umana unica...

In questo senso mi sento un docente-esploratore nel cercare di coordinare psicologia dell’accoglienza, qualità nella didattica e sperimentazione. Non potrei non essere una viaggiatrice universitaria. E fatico a comprendere come molti docenti non riconoscano la necessità d’apprendere nuovi metodi d’insegnamento partecipando a conferenze, seminari e workshops universitari all’estero. Pochi hanno al loro attivo esperienze internazionali e questo spesso comporta una visione più chiusa nell’insegnamento e paradossalmente più colma di “ certezze”. Non mettendosi in discussione, non discutono. Tutto a scapito di una didattica più innovativa e contemporanea...| RC

COPENHAGEN URBAN HEALTH| TRASFORMING CITY LIFE

The students are invited to work in teams to develop an interdisciplinary solution to urban issues in the local Copenhagen area. We will as always team up with local organizations and businesses and the students will be advised and updated by professional experts in urban issues, digital technologies, society and sustainable living.

The Charette incorporates the following subject areas: Design and Communication, Multimedia Design and Production, Product Design, Industrial Design, Architecture & Building Construction

The workshop offers the opportunity for students in specialized subjects to discover the potential of their specialty to develop solutions to complex issues through international interdisciplinary project work – an invaluable competence for their future work life.

SEMESTER DESIGN CONSULTANCY 
The course introduces students to a holistic analysis of a selected public urban space in Copenhagen: the historic waterfront in Nybrogade. The project is concerned with the “evidence based” development of a public space, first at the URBAN scale - the scale of the city -and later at the scale of an architectural composition within the square.
