RAFFAELLA COLOMBO
is an architect and she lives in Milan and Copenhagen. Member of the Italian Architects Association in Milan, Italy. Graduated at Politecnico di Milano, with a final thesis on Landscape Architecture with Renata Rippa. She has collaborated at the School of Architecture in Milan with Renata Rippa, Tomas Maldonado, Achille Castiglioni, Marco Dezzi Bardeschi, Henrique Pessoa, Marco Engel. She collaborates in Santiago de Chile with German del Sol, national Chilean prize in architecture. She has been teaching Landscape Architecture – Discipline ICAR 15- at the School of Architecture at the Politecnico of Milan since 1991 and is currently professor at the academic course Landscape Architecture. She has taken part in stages in Australia, Indonesia, India, Mexico, Colombia and Chile studying the history of ancient gardens, the local cultures, their identities and the architecture of contemporary public spaces. Participated to University workshops on planning urban public spaces as Team Leader and member of university teaching staff in Denmark, Italy, Canada, England, Serbia, Spain, Chile. She has ongoing strong relations with several universities such as Toronto George Brown College University, Canada, Copenhagen KEA University in Denmark, John Nesbitt University in Belgrade, Serbia and ETSAB in Barcelona, Spain. In 2010 she founded the multidisciplinary researching group Architetti InQuieti focusing on public urban spaces. Selected in various international competitions and juries such as in 2015 as a Member of the scientific committee for Milan Expo Landscape Agritecture Awards, and in 2016 as a Member of the international Jury –Brand and Landscape Award- with CNA, the National Council of Architects, the Milan Architects association, Triennale di Milano and Paysage. Promoter of university exhibitions, study trips and events. She writes for cultural magazines about landscape and is correspondent for the international magazines Paysage-Topscape and ANANKE– the University magazine directed by Professor Marco Dezzi Bardeschi. Selected in 2014 by the Milan Architects Association as Archi-writer, during BookCity Milan, for the book Paesaggi di Fuoco. Architetture Vive.She is university lecturer, author and poet.

è architetto, iscritta all’Ordine degli Architetti di Milano, e vive
a Milano e Copenhagen. Consegue la
laurea magistrale in Architettura, nel 1991, al Politecnico di
Milano, sviluppando una tesi di
Architettura del Paesaggio con Renata Rippa. Ha collaborato in università, a
Milano, con Renata Rippa, Tomas Maldonado, Achille Castiglioni, Marco Dezzi
Bardeschi, Henrique Pessoa, Marco Engel. Collabora a Santiago de Chile con German del Sol, premio nazionale
cileno in Architettura. Dal 1991 svolge attività didattica continuativa nell’ambito
dell’Architettura del Paesaggio- disciplina ICAR 15- presso la Scuola di
Architettura del Politecnico di Milano dove
è stata docente del Corso di Analisi e
progetto del giardino contemporaneo, di Storia
e Progetto del giardino contemporaneo e ora di Landscape Architecture. Ha preso parte a stages in Australia,
Indonesia, India, Messico, Colombia e Cile, studiando le culture locali, le
identità dei popoli, la storia dei giardini, le architetture contemporanee
degli spazi pubblici. Svolge attività accademica internazionale con conferenze
e partecipazione su invito a concorsi, giurie e workshops universitari internazionali in progettazione
ambientale, urbanistica e sviluppo urbano, come Team Leader e University
Teaching Staff in Danimarca, Italia, Canada,
Inghilterra, Serbia, Spagna, Cile.
Consolida rapporti continuativi con diverse università tra cui Toronto George Brown College University
in Canada, Copenhagen KEA University in Danimarca, Belgrade John Naisbitt University in
Serbia e ETSAB Barcellona in Spagna.
Nel 2010 fonda
Architetti InQuieti, un gruppo multidiscilpinare di ricerca per lo spazio
pubblico urbano. Viene selezionata per
il Comitato scientifico di Milano Expo Landscape Agritecture Awards nel
2015 e nel 2016 quale membro di giuria internazionale per Brand and Landscape
Award. Milano –per Paysage, Ordine degli Architetti di Milano, Triennale di
Milano, CNA Consiglio Nazionale degli Architetti- E’ promotrice di eventi e viaggi-studio universitari. Scrive per riviste specializzate in Architettura del
Paesaggio ed è corrispondente per le riviste internazionali Paysage, Topscape e
ANANKE, quadrimestrale universitario di cultura del progetto diretto da Marco
Dezzi Bardeschi. Selezionata nel 2014, dall’Ordine degli Architetti di Milano,
come Archi-scrittore in occasione di BookCity Milano per il libro Paesaggi di Fuoco. Architetture Vive. E’
university lecturer, autore e poeta.
